Rain in SuburbiaMartin Henderson drew back the curtain and silently thanked himself for mowing the lawn before it had rained. It was pouring, he knew, without even looking toward the window; the roof sounded as if it were about to cave in. However, Mr. Henderson was warm in his bathrobe and feeling quite secure where he was, doing the daily crossword puzzle in his high-backed armchair.

CrashI drove on the wrong side of the street tonight, but only for a second. Just long enough to see I was the only one going the wrong way, just long enough to almost hit a couple people.
But there was nothing more than a scare...
I guess they knew who I was looking for. I guess they knew I wouldn't settle for anything less then a head on collision. So I can't blame them for getting out of my way, and at least I left them shaking because we almost hit each other. But they'll never know I'm shaking because we never did.

Total permanent cessationI was lying in me bed tonight, thinking about whether keeping the stubs of my Blockbuster rentals would be a cool or sad thing to do.
I have a wide collection and it's pretty impressive. I have some sort of weird definition of impressive I've heard before, so I'm not sure the majority of our cultural body would get off their marbles about it like I do.
I asked the Grim Reaper what he thought about it.
He was sitting in my computer chair looking up Time on Wikipedia. He said he didn't get all the fuss about Time, and wanted to figure out some infos.

Couple more weeks and I'm out of school! Now let's just pray I graduate. For those of us who went to prom...good time. It was fun. Went home and had a party in Amanda's bed.
